300 Chrysler Hellcat - The other day we discussed a custom Hellcat powered Chrysler 300 Series sedan that appeared on the Facebook market for sale in Michigan.
A Chrysler 300 SRT Hellcat has been on the wish list of many enthusiasts since the first time on Dodge // SRT Hellcat models in 2015. And since Chrysler has not answered the call, many of those who are lucky to get their hands on Hellcat power. , have made swaps in their 300s.
300 Chrysler Hellcat
One of the best conversions we've ever seen has appeared on eBay! this past weekend. What started as the 2017 Chrysler 300S has now been transformed into an all-out performance machine. According to the seller, the donor car is a company car in a hot and dry climate and was not privately owned before its conversion. The transition will take 18 months to complete. The car is a full version of the Chrysler 300 SRT Hellcat, with a full SRT Hellcat drivetrain.
Chrysler Might Be Stuffing The 707 Hp Hellcat Engine Into Its Flagship 300 Sedan, And Oh Hell Yes
While some may think 707 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque will be enough for most, the owner has upped the ante by adding a Stage 1 upper pulley and injector package with an upgraded fuel system. Thanks to tuning from Hemituner Performance and DiabloSport, the car produces 730 hp and 700 lb.-ft. of torque on the wheel on a dyno.
The owner says the car runs on unrated 93 octane fuel, but it can pick up more power with a tune of E85.
Power isn't the only thing that's been upgraded over the regular SRT Hellcat model. The car is lowered 1-inch thanks to adjustable coilovers, allowing the car to have a much lower attitude without tires. The car also has OEM style Widebody wheels wrapped with NITTO 275 555G2 rubber in the front and 305 555RII rubber in the rear. The car also features the 300 SRT grille from the 6.4-liter HEMI V8 cars found in the Middle East and Australia, LED headlights, an induction hood, and tinted windows. The car also has full Hellcat SRT Laguna leather seats.
The eBay! the listing says the helper car has about 40,000 miles on it, while the Hellcat powertrain only has 10,000 miles on it at the time of the conversion. Since then, the current owner has put 1,000 kilometers on the car since the conversion was completed.

After all, we've seen Hellcats swapped in classic Mopars and non-Mopar cars, while Dodge seems to be figuring out how to do the thing under the hood of the Chrysler Pacifica and Jeep Compass after dropping the Durango. They should really look into making a Chrysler 300 Hellcat from the factory, but in the meantime we can see this car.
The guy who did this started with a 2016 Chrysler 300 with a Pentastar V6 engine, so it's nothing special. Then you make it even better by dropping a Hellcat V8 in it.
Cosmetically, the Chrysler 300's appearance hasn't changed much, but it sports a Hellcat-style hood. That's kind of a dead giveaway about what's going on underneath, if the black Hellcat Redeye badges on the front fenders aren't obvious enough. Some people thought it carried a different bumper, but the owner explained that it was a factory one with the fog lights removed for cooling purposes, just like on every other Hellcat. Additionally, the ride rolls on Hellcat five-spoke wheels with red Brembo calipers peeking out from the rear.
Hellcat Swapped Chrysler 300
As for the interior, it sports some SRT seats and a Hellcat cluster. If you're wondering how you got all these Hellcat parts, remember that there are many salvage Hellcats for sale on Copart at any given time. Even if that is not pleasant for the owners, whether their car is damaged or stolen and broken down, it is a good source of food for anyone who wants to do this kind of construction work.

Many people were disappointed by Chrysler's decision to make the 2023 Chrysler 300C powered by a 6.4-liter (392 cubic inch) SRT HEMI V8 instead of the larger HELLCAT HEMI V8. And while Chrysler has yet to officially build any Chrysler 300 SRT HELLCATs for the public, there are a handful of creative folks who have swapped HELLCAT powerplants into Chrysler 300s.
One of the builders of Khal_SRT has the process down to a science. His painstaking attention to detail allows him to build some of the best around, so much so that you might even think they rolled off the Brampton Assembly line.
Like parts, cars are becoming harder and harder to find, as demand has continued for parts during the pandemic. When the auxiliary cars came, he continued to make cars for a number of customers who were looking for something different.
Chrysler 300 S First Test: Fedora Tip
Your new creation is absolutely stunning. Using the Pentastar V6 that powers the Chrysler 300 as its base, the Dodge Charger SRT HELLCAT Redeye provides the necessary components (engine, transmission, suspension, engine accessories and interior parts) to transform it into a full-fledged SRT HELLCAT Redeye.
Painted in Gloss Black, the car is marked with yellow accents (front spoiler, SRT wheel spoke inserts, seat belts, brake calipers, and yellow-faced HELLCAT badges) that would make Batman's alter ego Bruce Wayne, pride. (True Batman fans will get that expression)
To set the car even further, as if the HELLCAT Redeye drivetrain wasn't enough, the hood has been cut to place Plexiglas in the middle to reveal the IHI 2.7-liter supercharger.
However, this 797 hp 300 is really amazing. The new owner must be very happy because it will definitely get a lot of attention on the road.

Some praise the recall of the Dodge Magnum. That's a shame, but unlike the Magnum, the 300 is still in production, and lives in the shadow of the sporty Charger and the muscular Challenger.
Our twin Dodge siblings are matched with attractive trims, special colors, and—most importantly—high-performance V-8 engines made by Mother Mopar. The Chrysler 300 Luxury, on the other hand, doesn't get that kind of loving attention from market makers. Since the 6.4-liter 300SRT8 ended production in 2014, the top engine available in the 300 is the 5.7-liter Hemi. Those wanting a powerful luxury cruiser from Chrysler are out of luck.
Considering the Hellcat V-8 was created for this platform, it's no surprise that the engine looks right at home under the hood. Take a trailer
This 2017 Chrysler 300S model, currently up for bid on Bring-a-Trailer, ditched its 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 in favor of a 2018 Charger Hellcat. The supercharged, 707-hp V-8 has been upgraded with a smaller supercharger pulley to spin faster for more boost, and the fuel system has been upgraded to match, with an additional pump and larger injectors. It also has Tazer Automotive Z that provides access to the SRT Performance Pages in the UConnect infotainment system, and custom programming for engine and transmission systems that may have been locked at the factory.
Why Chrysler Didn't Send Off 300 With Hellcat Powered Model
If you're in the market for a comfortable design, this Chrysler may be worth a look. The ceramic gray color will help him blend in with people, even if the helmet can raise some eyebrows. That custom hood serves a purpose, though, as it helps air flow over the supercharger and out of the engine bay, keeping air temperature down for improved power.
Chrysler may have produced the 300 SRT8 before the Hellcat V-8 came to town in 2015, but a 300 fan righted that mistake. The bid is currently $18,000 with only five days to go. This unique Chrysler will be a truly unique way to enter the Hellcat group and take in the joys of superior Hemi power.
