300 blackout rattler

300 Blackout Rattler - Sig Sauer has done it again. Sig Sauer's MCX Rattler, chambered in 300 Blackout, is an amazing platform with a price tag that makes me cry inside. It's a firefighter that scores big points in style but is held back by one issue for me. It's definitely worth buying, but it should have an ad associated with it.

Let me preface this by saying that I don't go for pre-built rifles or AR pistols much these days because I enjoy putting things together and having a little more control over the build process. It usually ends up being a bit cheaper too.

I bought the MCX Rattler pistol setup because I didn't want to wait for a tax stamp for a short barreled rifle (SBR). Still, the Rattler looks pretty clean. It's compact and easy to store in a bag or even under a car seat. Personally, I find it propped up next to my bed because the short barrel length (5") is perfect for maneuvering through narrow hallways and doorways in my home. It comes with an M-LOK guide blocky which looks really good as well as the stabilizer strap which is really rubbish. It's unstable and messy. I can't stand it. Other than that, every non-functional part of this AR pistol is solid.

. I don't enjoy a 9 pound trigger pull on my AR rifles or pistols, or really any firearms. This makes it very difficult to shoot accurately at long distances. This is one of the issues that really lets this gun down. I definitely have to change it to make it tolerable.

However, if you look at it, the accuracy is really great. I threw a small red dot and I was only trying to engage at fifty yards. The groups were solid with three inch groups while shooting somewhat erratically. After that, I was able to maintain 3 MOA while sitting down and focusing hard. I usually don't go out unless I'm using a low power variable optic (LPVO) or some sort of magnified optic and look a bit like a mouse on it.

Other than that, I don't know what else I could ask for. It is ergonomic, removable and extremely quiet with subsonic bullets and a suppressor. Also, this gun was originally built for military and special operations so it definitely sucks. I managed to find a workable one, but there are some very cheap options out there, even if they don't look very good. I wouldn't say go straight and buy it right now, but I'm sure you won't be disappointed if you pull the trigger on it. If you haven't heard of the Sig Rattler, you've definitely seen it in use or on the big screen. Rattler is a very popular PDW used by prominent government agencies such as the US Secret Service and many Hollywood studios.

The Rattler is a PDW folding stock chambered in 300 Blackout and 5.56 NATO. The popular blackout 300 model has become increasingly difficult to find in recent months as the Rattler's popularity continues to grow.

Suppressors For The Sig Mcx Rattler

The Sig Rattler is part of Sig's MCX rifle line and is likely their flagship or most popular model.

Announced in 2015 and released in 2016, the rifle began to falter somewhat, with some of the Gen 1s being recalled due to the bolt carrier group.

One of the main attractions of the SIG Rattler goes to the features. The rifle bears the SIG Sauer name, which is well known and looks modern and somewhat futuristic.

But it all depends on how he performs and what he brings to the table that other firefighters don't?

I'll start from the back of the gun. Starting with the fact that this gun can be purchased in either a pistol or SBR configuration. The SIG strap on this rifle is one of those approved by the ATF as a truly stable strap.

At one time there was a collapsible model and if you look at the side of the gun, they still have channels for the collapsible stock, for the rods that go up the side of the gun. So you can still add a retractable handle if you want maximum compactness.

Now, on the back of this rifle is a vertical Picatinny rail 1913. So any stock you can add to a 1913 rail, you can add to this rifle.

Now, the one on this rattler is the authentic SIG curve and to curve that fold, you pick it up and go into it.

To go back to the extended position, you do the same thing, get as close to the base as possible, turn around, you will hear it click,

So there is not much to say about the curve except that it works as a curve and does a good job.

The grip on this rifle is a custom SIG Sauer grip and if you are familiar with SIG grips, they have a very aggressive angled bottom.

I'm not sure why Sig likes this big angle, but I will say it allows your full hand to come into the grip and then reduces the overall mass and weight of the polymer grip.

Reminds me of the grip structure of the P320 and P365. SIG seems to stick to the same structure. I think they found something that worked and they stuck with it.

I like the safety in terms of how it works the only problem I have, and it's a problem I see a lot with the wide safety, is if you lift your finger above the trigger frame , the safety of the right side will dig into your fingers a little. .

It's not a big deal, but it's worth noting. The security is a little difficult at first, but they crack it. I noticed the same thing with the Sig Copperhead safety.

The trigger is a standard trigger. Now they feel a bit thin to me, they are not fat and wide like most triggers.

Sig Sauer Mcx Rattler Has 1 Big Fatal Flaw

There is little sight of this spur to the wall. The wall isn't complex, definitely a clean cut, but the reset is more defined than the cut, and it's not that bad.

It works well. It takes some getting used to. But it works, it works, and it's not bad.

So we will work our way through this gun. The charging handle on this gun has a small handle.

300 Blackout Rattler

Note that it does not have a cushioning system. It is a piston gun, and has a proprietary spring system that allows it to cycle.

So it's going to be a little tighter than you'd feel in an AR or something with a real shock tube system.

I believe Radian used an alternative to this, where you can use their Raptor charging handle.

I'm not sure if they still do that. But this SIG charging handle works fine.

Moving on to the adjustable gas block. Being a piston driven rifle you get the advantage of not getting much back gas flow and stopping this rifle is a much more enjoyable experience.

But this gun comes with an adjustable gas block from the factory. This is exactly the property of the SIG MCX series.

They don't have it at Copperhead because it's a gas shot. So the one good thing I will say about it is that you can't screw it up.

SIG has engraved the plus-minus on the frame of the rifle. So, you know if you need less gas to push it, you're going to turn it down.

If you need more gas, you run it the other way. It's marked at the top, so you can't pick it up.

The hand guard on this gun is different. I'd like to say it's unique, but it's not. It comes from the surface; Obviously, you can reach the gas block and the barrel.

Two screws hold it in place; After you remove it, you can remove the hand guard.

There are two M-LOK slots at the six, nine and three o'clock positions and it comes with two QD adapters for sling attachment on the left and right side.

Let's talk about control. When picking up the gun, we have controls similar to the AR.

Sig Rattler Pistol Review: Specs And Features

I want to compare it, so you have some reference. These controls remind me of the LWRC M6IC surround controls.

They don't look the same, but they have the same footprint. So you will publish the magazine on both sides. The only difference is that you don't have a bolt release on either side.

But at the bottom, there is a little lever that you hit to release the bolt. I believe they probably did this because of the size of this gun.

300 Blackout Rattler

To keep all the controls compact and the gun as small as possible, they probably changed it
